Work Begins On A Former Job Centre Site
Project Site Background
We are excited to announce that Baker Flooring are currently working on an interesting project in Bromsgrove. A MyPlace supported housing facility – Bryson Place – will breathe new life into the area.
The scheme comprises of 14 single-bedroom flats, a communal hub, office, car parking and landscaped gardens. As well as this, it will be situated a stone’s throw from Bromsgrove town centre. Moreover, it will offer adults with a learning disability the opportunity to live independently in their own home. The on-site resource hub will be used as a place for residents to socialise as well as somewhere that can offer training, employment advice, and activities to the wider community.
Baker Flooring will be completing all flooring works on this project – and we can’t wait for the finished outcome!
A Word From MyPlace
Catherine Ashley, MyPlace manager, said: “We’re thrilled to have begun construction on our Bromsgrove MyPlace development. In turn helping regenerate the area and provide adults with long-term conditions a place to take control of their own life, reduce their dependency and ultimately live more independently.
“With home ownership proving so unaffordable for so many people, the other aspect of this development will provide high-quality homes which are perfect for first-time buyers hoping to get on the property ladder.”
